Summer is officially here and most French bulldogs are are prone to overheating. This is a very dangerous season for our beloved frenchies.   Overheating or hyperthermia is a condition that can cause seizures and brain damage, coma and death.   Here are several tips to follow during summer to avoid  heat stress.

1. Keep your dog in air-conditioning.

2. Always have cool fresh water for dog.

3. Avoid activities during hot days.

4. Keep an eye on your pup if he or she is outside playing or exercising. 

5. If your pup starts getting hot put their paws in cold water or douse them.
